Throughout our history, as an innovative and alternative system, international events have forced us to take official positions on what was happening, but also to propose solutions to serious problems, for which we, as an absolutely new system, were in no way to blame.
We cannot be held responsible for any of the activities of other systems, and as a political organization, we cannot take the blame for what all other political forces throughout history have done, or for what is happening around the world, even right now.
As soon as we participate in the elections with our programs and our candidates, whether we win, and will have the task of deciding, or if we lose, and we carry out a just, healthy, loyal, sincere, and honest opposition, we will assume full responsibility for all our activities.
It may seem logical to you to take responsibility, but we ask you: which political force has ever apologized to you, and taken full responsibility for the consequences of its decisions, from the moment it won or lost an election?
Which political force, after winning, asked you for your opinion? DirectDemocracyS will not only ask for your opinion, but will also allow you to govern and make laws continuously. In the event of a defeat, it will allow you to decide what proposals to make and how we should make ourselves useful, to help whoever wins, to achieve the good of all.
No one can guarantee these things, but we are also unique in our relationship with our voters, who are and always will be the true protagonists.
We've often told you that it's not right to simply criticize, but it's essential to come up with concrete proposals to change and improve the world.
We've often told you that the old, failed, unjust, iniquitous, insecure, and manipulative traditional politics has nothing in common with our political organization. We've explained every adjective we use to despise them, more or less all of them, but to realize all the problems they're causing us, all you have to do is read a newspaper, or a history book, or even just look around, and you'll see countless situations with culprits named, surnamed, and associated with various political forces.
Our task, however, is not limited to reporting; above all, we have a duty to propose solutions that actually work. Not the solutions others propose, which "seduce" you with gifts, bonuses, and crazy expenses, which we, and future generations, will have to pay for with interest. What we propose is a revolution in thinking, in which we must all do our part, both by funding our system with annual fees and donations, and by concretely using a tiny but crucial portion of our free time for the good of all, putting our skills and expertise at the disposal of others in DirectDemocracyS.
The economic and financial failure of all old systems is demonstrated by the enormous global public debt, with every citizen of the world owing over $30,000 (some experts estimate nearly $40,000) of debt, due to the enormous global public debt. Therefore, when we write that everyone is bankrupt, it's certainly not an exaggeration, and very few can be saved. To solve all the problems and reverse the negative trend, bold decisions are needed, such as: fighting tax evasion and avoidance, not simply by finding and punishing the culprits, but by seizing the assets of various front men. Immediate elimination of all tax havens (after requiring countries to provide full details of all hidden income); taxation must ensure, in every country in the world, an identical average income; a subsistence income close to the median income for all, but not free money, but socially useful work, and permanent employment for all, to allow every couple (of any type) to start a family in normal living conditions. This means water, food, medicine, excellent healthcare, and the highest level of education for every citizen of the world. Punishing those who don't take action and rewarding those with ideas and projects that help create a better life for all. Equality and meritocracy, always guaranteed together, forever, for all. Fighting organized crime, terrorism, and dictatorships, and creating conditions of safety worldwide. Creating a safer planet for every population means not spending money on weapons, but rather disarming all the superpowers first, so as to avoid any risk to the weaker countries. Use the armed forces to support law enforcement and ensure respect for the law. We have an obligation to ensure peace of mind and excellent living conditions for all. We know that these proposals of ours will shock some fake economists and financial "experts," slaves to lobbies and old systems, but we can assure you that every one of our proposals can be implemented (with the right timing and a lot of hard work) with beneficial effects, sustainable global economic growth, and benefits for all, obviously starting with helping first and foremost the individuals and commercial companies most in need. First, we need a change and an improvement in our mentality. Now, just try to imagine a situation like the one described in the previous sentences, and you'll see that not only is it possible, but it creates a domino effect, allowing every problem solved to solve other directly related ones, freeing up enormous resources for investment, for concrete growth, and an increase in the purchasing power of all people. Over time, not only the poor, but also the middle class, will see their living conditions improve, and ultimately, the rich will also benefit enormously. We have never been, and will never be, a political force that takes from the rich to give to the poor, if those who are rich are so by merit, respecting all laws, paying all taxes, respecting their workers, and without causing harm to other people and our planet. Those who don't fully comply with the previous sentence will lose and redistribute everything!
Foreign policy is a true global injustice. Not only wars, terrorism, invasions, and violence, but also countries that, through sanctions, corruption, or provocation, stage coups around the world, or that dictate various policies without regard to the will of the people. To resolve all this, we need security measures and united, determined, courageous, and severe actions by all peoples to eliminate every injustice, every dictatorship, and to prevent every type of violence.
At this point, many will wonder why we are "closer" to the partially democratic Western countries than to the dictatorships and oligarchies of other countries. Simply put, because for us, the values of freedom, democracy, and pluralism are fundamental to a normal life. Regimes with a single party and a single thought, as in China and other countries, or oligarchic dictatorships like in Russia and other countries, which deny their people any freedom, stifle opposition, and hand over the wealth of their respective countries to a few loyalists of their respective leaders, are not, for us, preferable to the imperfect and contradictory "Western democracies," which at least allow us to complain and protest if we don't like something. Anyone who proposes, as an example and as an alternative to the decadent and often unjust West, a dictatorial system without the possibility of opposition is doomed to failure, because one cannot give up freedom for corruption disguised as equality. Those who are incapable and incompetent in the West do not become geniuses and do not obtain more important roles in dictatorial systems, but they also lose the right to complain.
But you have to understand one thing.
For us, anyone who invades a country they swore to defend in exchange for 1,800 nuclear warheads—like Russia in Ukraine, which treated the Budapest Memorandum as toilet paper—is always wrong. Therefore, our position, in support of those invaded, is clear and unwavering, without hesitation. Until the annexation of Crimea in 2014, it was the Ukrainians who were in the wrong, failing to grant the necessary freedoms and autonomy to all the various minorities, including the Russians. Bullying, however, must not lead to provocations and violence.
For DirectDemocracyS, every people, in their own country, must respect and defend all minorities, of all kinds, without any discrimination. But every people must be able to decide freely for themselves, without any influence of any kind, which economic union and which military alliance to join, without having to ask permission from any superpower or any neighbor, especially if it is a dictatorship, which cannot give lessons in morality or anyone. Therefore, for us, Ukraine must be able to join, if its people so desire, both the European Union and NATO, without having to obtain Russia's approval. There are no geopolitical situations that justify the lack of freedom and the imposition of another people's choices, because autonomy and sovereignty must be guaranteed to every people and every country. No country and no military alliance would attack a military superpower like Russia unless it were in self-defense. Therefore, the lies about security guarantees for Russia are believed only by those who pretend to believe in the "reasons" of President Putin and his oligarchs. We, even before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, were in favor of Russia's immediate integration into NATO and the European Union; indeed, the creation and integration of all into the world organization of peoples, for a future without terrorism, without wars, without cowardly invasions, and without any kind of violence.
For all wars, we have unique and radical solutions, such as having the two peoples involved vote and elect one person from each country, who must jointly find solutions based on legality, logic, common sense, and mutual respect. There are experts and specialists who tell us: but what vote? Without the authorization of their respective governments, these two elected officials would have no recognition. So, two competent, free, independent people, elected by each people, to definitively resolve a serious problem, caused primarily by their respective presidents, governments, and parliaments, would have no legitimacy? Then, if that's the case, all their respective institutions lack legitimacy.
We have discussed the situation between Palestinians and Israelis several times, and have presented similar solutions for all conflicts. Let the peoples vote for an official representative for each side in the conflict, and work together to resolve every problem and prevent any possible future crisis. For us, and for anyone who joins us, terrorists are criminals against humanity, and anyone who supports and aids them is an accomplice. States, institutions of any kind, political forces, and their representatives who hope for, or cause, the elimination of a people or a country are criminals against all humanity. Anyone who justifies them is equally guilty; there is no justification for committing violence, nor even to justify it. Likewise, Israel's military actions, driven by politics, are often disproportionate and reckless, causing deaths, injuries, fear, destruction, humanitarian catastrophes, and fueling the spiral of violence. The solution of two peoples in two states is perfect for the old, failed, and divisive traditional politics. For us at DirectDemocracyS, who believe in unity, not division, the best solution to resolve all conflicts is mutual respect and collaboration (to denounce, judge, and punish all terrorists and free all hostages). There is only one solution: a free, truly democratic federal state, in which two peoples live, with broad autonomy but maximum cooperation. By eliminating borders and working together for the common good, all conflicts can be resolved and further problems prevented in the future.
You will have understood that for us, freedom, authentic democracy, logic, common sense, truth, collaboration, unity, and mutual respect are the only solution for living together in a different, better world. All of us at DirectDemocracyS are working, and will always work, hard, to implement everything we decide with our truly shared leadership and our right to ownership.
